"Paid Full Price for a Blocked View"
I paid full price for my seat, but the view was blocked by a pillar for most of the time. It was frustrating, especially because it didn’t feel like there was a real person there to help or even acknowledge the issue. Just kind of left me feeling stuck with a bad seat I shouldn’t have paid full price for.

"Show was okay, sound not so much"
The show itself was fine, I had a decent time... but the sound was kind of all over the place. Some parts were way too loud and other times it just sounded muffled, so it was hard to make out what people were saying.

"Booking was more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried booking tickets through the website, it was a hassle. I’m not saying I’m bad with websites or anything, but the pages felt slow, it took way too long to find the right show, and the checkout process wasn’t clear at all. I had to keep going back because I couldn’t tell what I had actually selected. Maybe it works perfectly fine for other people, but my experience was frustrating enough that I just gave up.

"The Show Was Great, the Food Was a Tragedy"
I went in excited for the show, but the food situation was a whole downfall. Everything I got was cold, overpriced, and just not worth it at all. Even the drink tasted flat, like it had given up before I even took a sip. I really expected better, but after that experience, I wouldn’t bother buying food or drinks there again

"Pretty awkward to get to"
I went once that was enough to make me think this place just isn’t very convenient. Parking nearby was a hassle, and getting out after the show took forever. Maybe it’s fine if you live right in town, but for anyone driving in, I’d expect it to be a bit of a pain.

"I reached out to customer service…"
I reached out to customer service hoping to actually get some help, but I just kept getting passed from one person to another with no real resolution. After a while it felt like they were just brushing me off. The whole experience gave me the impression that once they have your money, helping you isn’t really a priority.

"The queue situation was a mess"
I ended up waiting way longer than I expected, and the whole queue felt really disorganized. What bothered me most was that nobody seemed to care or explain what was going on. I also never got any follow-up afterward, which made the whole experience feel even more frustrating

I went during a really busy show and the toilet situation was awful, the queues were so long and there clearly weren’t enough loos open, I ended up standing around forever and missed part of the performance which was really frustrating

"Couldn’t Get Comfortable"
My back hurt the whole time, which pretty much ruined the experience for me. I kept trying to adjust and get comfortable, but it never really helped. Maybe it works for other people, but for me it was just uncomfortable and frustrating.

"Good show, but the toilets let it down"
I booked a show through aberdeenperformingarts and the event itself was totally fine, no complaints there. But the toilets were grim when I went during the break. The floor was wet, the bins were overflowing, and there was barely any soap left. I get that busy venues can struggle to keep on top of things, but it really felt like they hadn’t been checked often enough. It kind of takes the shine off a night out. I’d usually mention it to customer service, but I never really trust that those complaints go anywhere, so I’m leaving it here instead

"Just an Okay Vibe"
I thought the atmosphere was okay overall, but it didn’t feel very warm or lively. You kind of expect a place to have a bit more energy, and this one just felt a little flat.

"Wish the full price showed up earlier"
I was trying to book tickets the other night after dinner, just sitting on the couch with my laptop, and the price I saw at the start was not the same as what showed up closer to checkout. A bunch of extra fees seemed to appear late in the process, which was frustrating because I was comparing prices with a couple other sites at the same time. I don’t mind paying fees if they’re shown clearly upfront, but this made it feel a little sneaky. I ended up going back through the pages to double-check everything, which was a waste of time. It would be so much better if they just showed the full ticket price from the beginning. Would’ve saved me the hassle and probably kept me from leaving the site annoyed.

The visit was unpleasant. The seats and floors felt grubby, and the toilets clearly needed a proper clean. I’m not expecting anything fancy, but a basic level of cleanliness feels like the least customers should be able to count on.

I tried to sort out a refund/exchange through Aberdeen Performing Arts and it was more stressful than it needed to be. Replies took ages, and I felt like I kept getting passed from one person to another without anyone giving me a clear answer. I understand there are policies, but the whole thing came across as really unhelpful. On top of that, the reminders felt aggressive, which just made the experience even more annoying. I’d definitely think twice before booking again if there’s any chance my plans might change.

"Nice staff, but the bar wait was really frustrating"
I went for a show and felt a bit let down by the bar situation. The queue barely moved, and I ended up missing part of the interval just waiting for one drink, which was really frustrating when I’d come to enjoy the whole experience. The staff seemed friendly enough, so I don’t think they were being careless, but it just felt way too slow and took the shine off the night a bit

"Not much notice about the change"
I was frustrated because they hardly told us anything before the show got changed. We were just kind of left guessing, and by the time we found out, it felt like... well, not great. A little more communication would’ve helped a lot

I went for a show and it was a decent experience overall, but the lack of legroom really got to me. My knees felt jammed in the whole time, and I just couldn’t get comfortable. The venue itself was fine and the show was enjoyable, but I’d probably think twice before booking seats there again.
